Fostering Strong, Resilient, Limitless Dancers

Overview of Services

A dance physical therapist provides so much more than just rehabilitation after an injury.

Injury Rehabilitation

Physical therapy rehabilitation is for dancers that currently have an injury that limits their dancing.  It is preferred that these services are done in person for the initial assessment, but can then transition to telehealth if it is appropriate.

Strength and Conditioning Programs

Strength and conditioning programs are designed for the unique demands of dancers and are tailored to your needs. They help improve your dancing and prevent injuries. These programs can be provided online or in person.

Strength training for dancers can improve extensions, turns, jumps, and many other dance skills.

Skill-Specific Training Programs

These programs are focused on improving a specific element of a dancer's technique. This could be turnout, turns, développé height, jumps, etc. They are well rounded in their approach and can be provided online or in person.

Pre-pointe assessments make sure young dancers are safe to start pointe work.

Pre-Pointe Assessments

These assessments are for young dancers that may be starting pointe within the next six months. These assess strength, mobility, balance, and body awareness to ensure a safe transition into pointe shoes.

Injury Prevention Screenings

These screenings uncover a dancer's weak points that potentially put them at risk injuries. You will get guidance on areas of focus to not only prevent injuries, but also improve your performance.

Learning together can be more fun.

Workshops

Workshops are a fun way to learn with your friends. They can cover a variety of topics depending on your interests and needs. Workshops incorporate education in anatomy, physiology, dance science, and injury prevention techniques.

"Chelsea is great, very knowledgeable but will tell you if she is not sure of something. I'm a personal trainer and a professional dancer, and she has been able to help me recover from injuries and develop more range of motion than I could have on my own. I highly recommend her!"

Professional Dancer, Personal Trainer

"I brought my daughter here for PT with her feet. She is very kind, knowledgably, and thorough. She spent a lot of time with us. The studio and space was nice and clean. She followed up with a plan and exact exercises to help strengthen at home. Would highly recommend her for any dancers in the area!"
